Jacket - Waterproof with Hood Attached

** This jacket includes the detachable hood. It is sewn onto the jacket and has a zipper that you can easily remove the hood. We do offer Jackets - Waterproof  if you do not want a hood on your jacket. The price of the hood is included in the price on this jacket.

These jackets have roomy raglan sleeves so you don't get bound by a tight shoulder while working.  The full zip jacket has two pockets in the front compared to the half zip jacket that has one large front pocket to provide an extra layer of protection where you need it most.  The half zip was designed specifically for milkers in a parlor setting.  No more broken zippers from rubbing up against curbing.

Choose from a standard sleeve or our popular thumb hole sleeve. Because our Milking Sleeve with Thumb Hole was such a success, we created waterproof jackets with the thumb hole sleeves built right in! Particularly helpful when spraying water while holding your arms over your head, this jacket paired with nitrile gloves will keep water from running down your arms.

Features:

  • Waterproof fabric keeps you dry
  • Roomy raglan sleeves, so you won't get bound by a tight shoulder
  • Choose from full zip or half zip options
  • Colors:  Blue or Black
  • Comes with detachable hood that can be zipped on and off

Two sleeve styles available:

Thumb hole sleeve offers unique design to protect wrists from moisture and debris. To be worn with a nitrile glove over the top for seamless protection at your wrist.

Regular sleeve has adjustable cuffs with elastic and velcro so they fit snug around wrists.

With many options available, pick your favorite options and order your jacket today!

Bravo udder tech!

I am the director of Saerim Bovine Services in South Korea, specializing in dairy cattle reproductive herd control. For the past 10 years, I have been a loyal user of Udder Tech products—mainly their shoulder protectors and aprons. To me, Udder Tech’s greatest strength—and paradoxically, their biggest downside as a business—is that their durability is simply mind-blowing. In fact, while performing rectal palpations on 300,000 Holstein dairy cows over the last decade, I’ve only gone through about 3 or 4 of their aprons and shoulder protectors.
Having made some good earnings recently, I went ahead and bought enough Udder Tech gear to last me a lifetime. And to celebrate, I also bought matching jackets for my wife and me to wear as a couple's look. It’s still summer here in Korea, so they are sitting in their packages for now. But once we successfully make it through the summer with the cows and autumn arrives, we’ll be wearing these beautiful jackets out together!

Hooded Jacket

This hooded jacket is just what I was looking for in a rain/wind jacket for feeding calves. It's lightweight but tough enough to do the job.

Waiting for rain!

They look and fit great. We bought them for doing chores in the rain, but haven’t had any rain since our purchase, so we could try them out! 🙂

As good as advertised

Thus is the second Uddertech garment I have purchased. Wore the bib overalls for slaughtering two pigs (mud, water, bit of blood, lots more water for scald and scrape) and stayed dry as a bone. The jacket will complete my conversion to duck status, wish I would have had it for the pig harvest. Lightweight, sturdy, well made with velcro at cuffs to make adjustable. Getting one for my boyfriend now, so no excuses of rain! Ha! I suppose he'll get me a new vacuum now...
