“On farms where children are playing child safety must be the top priority,” says Dana Casto, Udder Tech, Inc. business manager. “When we launched our adult high visibility bibbed overalls at World Dairy Expo last fall, we weren’t surprised to hear that farm families were also looking for high visibility children’s gear.
Udder Tech’s original waterproof children’s bibbed overalls and jackets are now available in the high visibility yellow color. The overalls feature a band of reflective tape around the bottom of the leg, and the jackets have a band around the sleeve. The bright yellow color helps keep children visible in the daylight, while the reflective bands help keep children visible in darker conditions.
The children’ bibbed overalls are made from a durable polyester fabric that can be machine washed and dried just like our adult high visibility bibbed overalls, but these items are not ANSI Class E Approved.
“Anything you can do to keep little ones safe is well worth the investment,” adds Casto. “Don’t take child and farm safety for granted.”
